Services

From a single oversized package to a 200-tonne project: our services around heavy haulage and abnormal loads – including escort vehicles, permits and route planning.

When does a transport require a permit?

In Germany a transport requires a permit as soon as it exceeds the standard dimensions of the StVZO – i.e. more than 2.55 m wide, 4.00 m high, 16.50 m long (articulated truck) or 40 t heavy. In that case a permit under §29 or an exemption under §46 StVO applies (VEMAGS procedure).

  • 2.55 mWidth
  • 4.00 mHeight
  • 16.50 mLength
  • 40 tWeight

If any one of these values is exceeded, the transport requires a permit.

Standard limits under the StVZO. If a value is exceeded, the transport requires a permit or exemption – we handle the application procedure.
