About Oversize Transports

Who we are

Oversize Transports is the brand of HSNK s.r.o., based in Prague – specialised in international heavy haulage and abnormal load transports of up to 200 tonnes. We arrange oversize and heavy transports beyond the classic EU corridors, all the way to Türkiye, the Caucasus and Central Asia. We operate independently and handle every project directly – from the first feasibility study to delivery at destination. If your load is too wide, too high, too long or too heavy for standard traffic, we are the right people to talk to.

How we work

Heavy haulage is project business, not standard shipping. That is why you get one dedicated contact who knows and coordinates your project from start to finish – without being passed between anonymous departments.

Every quote is preceded by an honest feasibility study: we realistically assess dimensions, weight, route, the permit situation and the equipment required. Only then do we quote a binding fixed price. That means no nasty surprises, but predictability for your budget. We keep you informed throughout the whole process – continuous project support and 24/7 availability for the duration of the transport are standard for us. Safety & quality

For us, trust is not created by advertising promises but by a way of working you can verify. Our capabilities in detail:

• Permit management: we take care of applying for special permits and exemptions (StVO §29/§46, processed via VEMAGS) and plan a route that can be approved.
• Escort: organisation of the prescribed BF3 and BF4 escort as well as police escort, matched to the individual route – details under BF3/BF4 escort vehicles.
• Load securing: lashing, supporting and securing the load in line with the recognised rules of technology to VDI 2700.
• Customs & cross-border handling: preparation and management of customs documents such as the T1 transit procedure and TIR carnet for transports to third countries.

All services surrounding the transport itself are brought together under heavy haulage.

Why the Middle Corridor

For destinations in Türkiye, the Caucasus and Central Asia we consistently use the Middle Corridor – the route across the Caspian Sea and Transcaucasia. It runs without any transit through Russia and is therefore sanctions-compliant, predictable and politically more robust than the classic northern route. This is how we reliably get heavy and bulky goods to places where conventional forwarders reach their limits. More on this under Middle Corridor.
